Your data
Delete your data
You can have everything Dilinga holds about you deleted. Here is what to do and what gets removed.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
In the app
Open Settings and use the delete option to remove your profile and the data attached to it. If you have a voice model from the beta, delete it from the My Voice section first — that also removes it at the voice provider.
Deleting the app on its own does not delete server-side data, so do this before you uninstall.
By email
Write to info@dilinga.com with your Dilinga ID and the display name on your profile. We use those to find the right records; there is no account password to verify against, so please write from a device you can still open the app on if you can.
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: display name, language, status and picture.
- Your conversations and the messages in them.
- Photos, files and voice notes you sent, from our file storage.
- Your call records and diagnostic events.
- Your voice model, if you have one.
- Your push notification registration.
What stays, and why
Messages you sent to another person remain in their copy of the conversation, in the same way an email you sent stays in the recipient's mailbox.
Call transcripts are stored on your own device, so they go when you delete the app or clear its data.
We may keep a minimal record of a deletion request itself, and anything we are legally required to keep.
